Happy Thanksgiving!

November 24th, 2009 — 12:31 am

It’s Thanksgiving again! It is time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general! That’s why I thought I take a moment to thank my great patients for being so loyal and referring their friends and loved ones to my practice! Being a Dana Point and Laguna Niguel Dentist allows me to get to know number of great people from these vivid and beautiful cities, who come to my office initially for either teeth whitening or dental check up and treatment, but they stay in my life as friends. I get to know each and every one of them and we build a relationship that is based on trust and mutual respect, to the point that sometimes I miss them and feel like calling them just to see how they are doing! I cherish you all and wish you a wonderful thanksgiving and a safe holiday season!

By the way although we might be closed some of the days due to the Holidays, I am still available if you have a dental emergency, please call our dental office at (949)240-3242 and you will be redirected to my personal voicemail.

Kind Regards,

DR Zadeh

Few interesting things to know!

November 6th, 2009 — 10:51 pm

God’s Pharmacy! Amazing!

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye… and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength… Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don’t have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Avocados, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female – they look just like these organs. Today’s research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.

Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like the body’s cells. Today’s research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produces tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

How to maintain a healthy Smile!

October 30th, 2009 — 06:13 pm

Preventing gum disease, the leading cause of tooth loss, is gaining new urgency. As research shows gum disease can contribute to heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

The culprit? Oral bacteria that leak into the bloodstream. Dental health is directly linked to the health of the body, and many diseases may be alleviated by eliminating toxins and inflammation in the mouth.

What can you do? Brush teeth at least twice daily, floss, use mouthwash, and visit your dentist every six months (If you have ever been diagnosed with gum disease, or have had root planing and scaling, deep cleaning, you need to get your perio maintenance cleaning every 3 to 4 months, this is how long it takes for the bacteria to recolonize.)

A diet rich in fruits and green vegetables for vitamin C and calcium is essential to oral health, and B vitamins and CoQ10 are also recommended to maintain gum tissue health.

Your toothbrush should be replaced every three months. If it starts to fray before three months are up, throw it out and get a new one.

Getting a quick an painless Oral Cancer screening test once a year (Comparable to PAP test to prevent Cervical Cancer) is standard of care and can save lives. One American dies every hour from oral cancer. Prevention is the best solution.

Please call us today, we have flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings and Saturdays, we will be happy to make an appointment that works with your busy schedule.

Have a wonderful halloween everyone!

Use it or Lose it!

October 7th, 2009 — 09:32 pm

This is to inform all of our patients who have PPO dental insurance. Most PPO dental plans have a set dollar amount to be paid out each year. Any benefits not utilized by the end of the plan year are lost. If you have dental treatment that you have been postponing, including routine preventive treatment, please call our office as soon as possible to make an appointment, before your benefits expire.

Sometimes it is possible to complete dental treatment in phases. Depending on individual needs, careful planning to maximize your benefits remaining for 2009 while doing the remainder of treatment the beginning of 2010 can provide you with more reimbursement than waiting to do all treatment in 2010.

Other factors such as deductibles, covered cleanings that you have not used, etc. could result in your losing benefits which you have already paid for. Don’t let your unused benefits expire! Contact our office as soon as possible to reserve time for you or any family members needing treatment. If you have any questions concerning your remaining dental treatment or benefits, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to assist you.

Just wanted to take a minute and thank the city of Dana point and Laguna Niguel for their support and hospitality. My dental office is about to celebrate it’s one year anniversary in October. We have had a great year so far and none of that would have been possible without the kindness and loyalty of wonderful residents of Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, Mission Viejo, San Clemente and my own great neighbors in Aliso Viejo and all other great local towns.
